You will act as a hands-on technical lead in a consultancy context, ensuring the impact of AI applications for innovative Dutch and international clients., * Own the full development and implementation of robust AI/ML applications, ensuring systems are scalable and production-ready.
- Support the growth of our engineering team by sharing knowledge on technologies like Kubernetes, Airflow, and Kafka - and by mentoring more junior engineers.
- Act as a technical partner for stakeholders, translating complex AI architectures into clear business value and human-centric impact.
- Play an active role in building Enjins: participating in interviews and identifying new tools and methods that increase team velocity.
What success looks like
A concrete example: within your first months you might lead the deployment of a renewable-energy forecasting model for a Climate Tech client - end-to-end, from data pipeline to production API with full MLOps coverage. That's the kind of work we do.
Within 1 Month
- Complete Enjins onboarding and become a certified cloud practitioner (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Start your first client project, working alongside an experienced Enjins engineer who acts as your buddy.
- Meet your dedicated Coach and Buddy who support your first two months.
Within 3 Months
- Take ownership of a client's AI/ML application from architecture through deployment.
- Begin mentoring junior engineers and actively sharing knowledge within the team.
Within 6 Months
- Drive measurable velocity improvements for your client.
- Contribute to team growth - identifying tooling improvements and participating in the hiring process., * A dedicated personal training programme (AI-Leap) to improve your skills, plus 1-on-1 coaching from Leads and our C-level.
- Become a certified cloud practitioner in your first month and dive straight into client projects.
- Regular feedback moments and project assessments to ensure continuous professional evolution.
- A specialised learning programme sharpening skills in leadership, stakeholder management, architecture, and Tech Due Diligence.
- Two career tracks available: technical deepening or engineering leadership - your path to choose.

Requirements
We're looking for pragmatic engineers who thrive on solving complex problems with clean, scalable code - whether your background is software engineering, data science, econometrics, or another quantitative field. If you're willing to expand your skills and grow, we want to hear from you., * At least 3 years of relevant experience as an AI/ML Engineer, demonstrating a proven history of leading development projects.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git, with practical experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as ETL/ELT orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a solid grasp of MLOps and LLMOps principles.
- Background in designing or working with Agentic or LLM-based systems, including RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
- Knowledge of model evaluation, testing methodologies, and production monitoring practices.
- Experience in technical consultancy environments is highly advantageous.
