SC Cleared DevOps Engineer - Central London - Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform
TrinIT Talent are looking for an SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to come on board for a 6 month contract based in Central London, with 50% onsite working. This role falls Inside Scope of IR35 and is paying up to £550 per day.
Job Description:-
We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to support and enhance a critical on-premise infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the existing platform, driving automation, supporting production environments, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of the DevOps toolchain.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, support CI/CD best practices, manage code deployments through multiple environments, contribute to technology roadmaps, and provide out-of-hours production support as part of an on-call rota.
Key Skills:-
- Active SC Clearance
- Strong experience with on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments
- Linux systems administration within high-availability production environments
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins
- Automation across build, deployment and release processes
- Experience with observability tools including ELK, Splunk, Prometheus and Grafana
- Major incident management and production support experience, including out-of-hours support
- Experience managing production environments and release deployments
- Strong understanding of Agile and modern DevOps practices
- Cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
- Security-first approach with experience working within secure environments
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
