Elasticsearch Platform Engineer

You'll be joining a collaborative team dedicated to delivering complex, sensitive technology solutions at scale, with a clear focus on security, resilience, and continuous improvement., * Manage and maintain Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Design and deploy scalable Elasticsearch solutions for Observability and Search use cases.
• Implement robust security, privacy, and compliance controls across Elasticsearch systems.
• Optimise system configurations and queries to enhance performance and reduce latency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Development) to integrate and support Elasticsearch across the wider ecosystem.
• Drive innovation and automation to improve platform efficiency and maintainability.

• Deep knowledge of Elasticsearch architecture, APIs, and components.
• Experience in deploying and supporting ECE in production environments.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and data compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Proficient in scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach.
• Bonus: Experience with Cloudera, Hadoop, CDSW, or CML is a plus.
