Job description

Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of nationwide LAN/WAN environments.

Support Cisco Catalyst switching, wireless infrastructure (WLC-based), NAC, and CTS components.

Monitor network performance and assist with capacity planning and traffic analysis.

Evaluate, test, and implement network communications software and tools.

Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Support network equipment configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and fault resolution.

Provide support for remote corporate locations and transmission performance issues.

Travel to remote sites for network analysis, hardware installation, and troubleshooting.

Maintain knowledge of current networking technologies and industry trends.

Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call support schedule.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred.

CCNP certification with a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated networking experience.

Experience with packet capture analysis.

Ability to troubleshoot Layer 1-4 issues in wired and wireless environments.

Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and Meraki Dashboard.

Experience installing and configuring network infrastructure.

Foundational understanding of network programming languages.

Experience with Cisco ISE preferred.

Experience with network automation tools such as APIs and Ansible preferred.

Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, connectivity solutions, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel as needed.
