Kotlin software contractor

• Develop and maintain production-grade Kotlin applications
• Contribute to the modernisation of a large-scale platform
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on system design and technical decisions
• Write clean, scalable and well-tested code
• Support integration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Work within Agile teams to deliver key project milestones

• Strong commercial Kotlin development experience
• 5+ years' software engineering experience
• Strong object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Experience building scalable, enterprise applications
• Agile development experience

Desirable

• Platform migration or modernisation projects
• Payments, FinTech or regulated industry experience
• JVM performance tuning, embedded systems or cloud technologies

• 12-month contract - very likely extension
• Daily rate
