Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in embedded software development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ (Rust beneficial)
- Experience developing software for resource-constrained or real-time systems
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with strong ownership of projects
- Resident in the UK for at least 5 years, + Experience working in start-ups or scale-ups, particularly fast-paced R&D environments
- Experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers
- Embedded Linux or RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS, Zephyr) experience
- Device drivers, low-level hardware interfacing, and board bring-up
- Real-time systems, multi-threading, and performance optimisation
- Sensor integration (IMUs, cameras, GPS) and data processing pipelines
- Communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
- Wireless communication stacks and telemetry systems
- Familiarity with control systems, flight software, or robotics
- CI/CD, testing, and debugging on embedded targets
