Job description
- Receive tasks and requirements details from program manager. Analyze the scope of work and provide estimated development timelines.
- Follow agile sprint-based development schedule. Unit test modules prior to handing them off to the Test Team. Assist the Test Team with load/performance/throughput testing where required.
- Peer review the work of colleagues and provide feedback for improvement. Accept constructive feedback from colleagues and grow your skillset on the job.
- Take notes during meetings, ask questions to obtain clarifications where needed. Document design decisions and technical details.
- Maintain source code version control.
- Work independently if needed. Implement, document, and maintain robust software solutions that will be in service over multiple years.
- Take on additional responsibilities over time and advance your career.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field.
- 4-10 years of work experience in software development or related field.
- 4+ years of writing object-oriented code in Java.
- 2+ years designing, developing, and maintaining MuleSoft solutions.
- 4+ years of building web applications or APIs.
- 4+ years of designing objects in relational databases (tables, views, stored procedures, indexes).
- 4+ years of creating rich web application user interfaces using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular/jQuery/ TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud environments, AWS ECS, AWS RDS, and AWS MKS.
- Familiarity with at least one Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tool like Entity Framework.
- Familiarity with at least one source code version control tool.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Microservices, Docker, and Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
- Familiarity with JSON, XML and XSLT.
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,00
The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
