Job description
- Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clusters
- Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and helm charts.
- Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines.
- Containerize custom applications.
- Design high-level architecture for cloud-native networks and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of tech stacks
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain
- Education: B.S. in Computer Science. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience or certification.
- 5 years of cloud-based solution design experience
- 2 years of PaaS/SaaS applications experience
- 1+ years of experience building helm charts and Kubernetes API objects.
- 1+ years of experience writing Dockerfiles and containerizing applications.
- 3+ years of experience with GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git version control.
- Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently.
Desired:
- Competence in building pipelines, preferably with GitLab.
- Experience delivering a cloud native application.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC flows, or KeyCloak.
- Experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform.
- Experience deploying to air-gapped networks.
- Experience with Cert Manager, OpenSSL, and Public Key Infrastructure.
- Experience with event streaming services, especially Kafka.

Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
