Job description
- Thought leader and trusted advisor to the T&P leaders, specifically the General Manager, COO, Product Owners, and other Cross-functional decision makers leading Data 360.
- Contribute to a team of high-achieving, innovative, fast-paced team of analysts, data engineers, and visualization engineers that partners with cross-functional teams to understand the business problem, gather information, synthesize data, apply mathematical and statistical methods to test hypotheses, and overlay business context to know why something happened (descriptive analytics) and provide recommendations on what to do about it (prescriptive analytics).
- Master in cross-functional collaboration by developing deep relationships with key partners across the company and coordinating with working teams.
- Inform the product roadmap development and execution for Data 360 product analytics, including releasing data products, dashboards and other analytical work related to Data 360 and associated products.
- Foster deep collaboration with cross-functional partners to establish the roadmap for the team, prioritize the most impactful work, and guide the team in solving ambiguous and complex problems.
- Develop the metrics and product insights required for Salesforce to grow Data 360 adoption and consumption
Requirements
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience as a data science or analytics professional, with a proven track record of delivering impact through modeling and/or analytics.
- MBA or Master's in Technology (computer science, computer engineering, economics, applied math, statistics, engineering, or other quantitative field).
- Proven experience working directly with senior executive leadership, and delivering enterprise-scale predictive modeling initiatives and applications.
- Expert communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives, and technologists, and able to lead and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience thinking out-of-the-box and solving tough problems.
- Proficient in statistics or machine learning, strong data manipulation, product analytics, and statistical analysis skills
- Adept proficiency in Python or R (specifically the PyData stack: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn).
- Mastery of SQL for complex data extraction, feature engineering, and performance tuning within cloud data warehouses
- Strategic problem solver who simplifies problems to their core elements and finds creative solutions.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance your flow of work
- Get-it-done mindset with a strong bias towards action and impact
- Willingness to work across a global team and time zones
