Job description
The IT Product Manager plays a key role in the evolution of Caribou Coffee's consumer-facing digital channels, including CaribouCoffee.com and Caribou's mobile apps. This individual leverages data and user research to identify solutions that create best-in-class experiences for our customers and maximize benefit to the organization. This role is the liaison between stakeholders, software engineers, stores, third parties, and customers to envision & execute roadmaps that exceed the company's objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Define & drive a digital experience roadmap to meet business goals and drive KPIs
- Work within an agile framework to optimize & manage limited resources, such as developers & designers, to support the primary objectives of multiple projects
- Advance Caribou's digital capabilities across all platforms, including CaribouCoffee.com & our mobile apps, to ensure company objectives are improved by a constantly changing tech stack
- Develop supporting business cases, including financial impact and benefits statements
- Champion the needs of consumers, business teams, and stakeholders from the inception of an idea through release & post-launch support
- Make data-informed product decisions with qualitative and quantitative research
- Execute plans with engineering, design, analytics, and product peers to coordinate efforts, identify interdependencies, and maintain consistency across projects
- Identify and interact with cross-department stakeholders to ensure all solutions improve guest experience while remaining financially beneficial
- Participate & lead various agile ceremonies to keep teams highly engaged & effective
- Partner closely with teams and vendors to build premium experiences that address specific user pain points and business goals

- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager
- Experience with the agile development methodology
- Excellent collaboration and presentation skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable and effective in times of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Ability to balance multiple objectives, projects, and goals
- Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, and negotiating skills
Preferred:
- Experience working in a Business/IT capacity for a company with manufacturing, distribution, restaurant, retail, and/or commercial Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) operations preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Usability and customer-focused design experience
- Experience writing SQL queries, experience with back-end and front-end programming languages, such as JavaScript, HTML & CSS
