Job description

  • Provide training support and promote knowledge sharing across business and technical teams
  • Identify and recommend improvements to data architecture and reporting processes
  • Document data pipelines, architecture, and internal processes thoroughly
  • Develop and execute UAT scripts, validation processes, and testing efforts
  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and governance across systems
  • Build scalable data models and structures for analytics and reporting
  • Enhance and support Power BI datasets, models, and performance
  • Transform and integrate healthcare datasets (claims, referrals, authorizations)
  • Act as the key point of contact between business stakeholders and IT/data teams
  • Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate into solutions
  • Architect, develop, and optimize data pipelines across multiple warehouse environments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, datasets, performance optimization)
  • Experience working with SQL, including relational and distributed databases
  • Familiarity with data warehouse environments (SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop, Greenplum)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced SQL skills (e.g., SQL Server, Teradata, Greenplum, Hadoop)
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of database management, including performance tuning and issue resolution
  • Experience supporting Power BI data models and datasets
  • Proven project leadership experience managing complex initiatives
  • Familiarity with Power Query and metadata optimization techniques
