Job description
- Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization.
- Perform in system integration activities within HWIL facilities to support system signal presentation.
- Participate in troubleshooting and failure investigation activities within HWIL facilities.
- Participate on HWIL engineering teams performing test system design, assembly and integration activities on developmental programs.
- Work in a team environment in HWIL facilities which support the full lifecycle of system development and sustainment activities.
- Operate HWIL test environments through various phases of program development.
Requirements

Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL.
- Signal generation and presentation, across IF and RF test environments.
- Experience working across multi-disciplined group of engineers., * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Integration experience with hardware, software and/or firmware including electrical design and reading schematic diagrams.
- Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
- Experience generating technical documentation and reports.
- Experience with RF theory and application in systems.
- Knowledge of networking and IP addressed based equipment.
- Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team.
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance.
- Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis purposes.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
