Software Systems Engineer

Immediate need for a Software Systems Engineer for a position in the Telecom Industry. This is a 11+ month's contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Basking Ridge , NJ. Please review the job description below

• Hands on experience in analysis, design, develop and deploy production quality JAVA REST micro services using Spring Framework, MySQL
• Perform data analysis, data conversion and loading in MySQL.
• Strong Communication skills, with focus on business value and technical solutions.
• Develop relations with peering teams, business community and support functional expertise.
• Experience developing microservice based application containers and orchestration
• Experience working in a DevOps agile environment.
• Ability to quickly perform proof-of-concepts for validating new technology or approach
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating exceptional analytical thinking, adaptability, multi-tasking, enthusiasm and motivation
• Configuration Management tool such as CVS, GIT, Stash
• Ability to perform data analysis, data conversion and loading in MySQL / Oracle
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Good understanding of JavaScript, NodeJS, AngularJS and related JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge configuring Jenkins and creating build pipelines
• Automation testing using TestNG, Selenium web driver

• 8+ years overall experience in OOA/OOD, Java, J2EE technologies, including but not limited to: JDBC, EJB, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, XML & XSLT
• 3+ year of strong hands on experience
• Development and deployment of Spring Framework micro services.
• REST services development using Jersey / Spring Boot
• MySQL / Oracle database
• Cloud PaaS deployment (Cloud Foundry / AWS)
• 2+ year experience using Git/Stash , JIRA, Jenkins
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Experience with development using Agile development methodologies
• Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams
• Tools & Technology: Micro service development using Spring Framework (Spring boot , Spring data)
• Core JAVA 1.8, Annotations
• Swagger UI, Eureka
• Messaging: JSON
• Build tools: Maven
• IDE: Spring Tool Suite / Eclipse
• JAX-RS Annotations or Spring Annotations
• Database: Oracle / MySQL
• Linux shell scripting
• DevOps tools: Git/Stash, Rally/Jira, Confluence , Jenkins, Ansible
• Telecom domain exposure including ordering, inventory, provisioning and billing modules is a plus.
