Job description

Insight Global is supporting a client on a Mobile App Developer focused on building real-world experience across native and cross-platform mobile ecosystems.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed Computer Science / Software Engineering degree

  • 1-3+ years of professional experience in software development

  • Experience with:

  • At least one native mobile platform:

  • iOS (Swift / Objective-C) OR

  • Android (Kotlin / Java)

  • Cross-platform frameworks:

  • React Native

  • Ionic

  • Frontend/UI development:

  • Angular, React, HTML, CSS

  • JavaScript or TypeScript

  • Strong understanding of:

  • REST APIs, HTTP, JSON

  • Component lifecycle & event-driven architecture

  • State management:

  • Redux, Context API, RxJS

  • Experience with:

  • Git / version control

  • Exposure to:

  • Cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)

  • Authentication (OAuth, JWT)

  • CI/CD + mobile build pipelines

  • Basic understanding of:

  • Mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM)

  • Testing (unit + UI testing)

  • Experience applying:

AI (GenAI / agentic AI) in development workflows Plusses / Nice-to-Haves

  • Strong experience across:

  • Both native + cross-platform development

  • Exposure to:

  • Advanced mobile debugging (device/OS-level issues)

  • Performance optimization for mobile apps

Benefits & conditions

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
