Job description
- Scope, design, and manage business modernization projects for a federal public-sector SAP ERP system.
- Plan and manage tasks for SAP upgrades, including S/4 HANA migrations.
- Lead project teams, organize project tasks, and ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Serve as the primary communication link between technical teams, vendors, and the client.
- Produce project documentation and provide briefings to government customers.
- Oversee cutover execution and provide hypercare stabilization after go-live.
- Manage the project team using agile or other development methodologies to deliver solutions.
- Support Earned Value procedures to manage cost and schedule.
Requirements
We are seeking a Project Manager with SAP experience to manage projects supporting a supply chain management program. This role involves managing multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity, with a focus on SAP implementations, upgrades, and modernization efforts. The position requires strong leadership, effective communication for stakeholder and client interfacing, and the ability to work within both agile and traditional project management frameworks., Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience: Nine years of related experience. Must have experience managing projects involving SAP upgrades and exposure to S/4 HANA. Experience with SAP modules such as ECC, SRM, or CRM is beneficial but not required.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile Scrum, Waterfall, and SAP Activate SDLC methodologies.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience with Microfocus ALM and test cycle management.
- Experience with SAP Release Management Processes, including Cloud ALM or ChARM.
