As a Data Analyst,you'llturn data into meaningful insights that help drive smarter decisions across the organization.You'llexplore trends, uncover opportunities, and bring clarity to complex datasets through compelling visualizations and analysis. Your work will directly influence key business strategies across areas like Digital, Marketing, Product, Retail, Finance, and Operations.You'llcollaborate with partners across the business while continuously strengthening data quality and reporting practices. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA,OR,ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC,CAor VA. Ifyou'relocatedin Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we arerequestingthat you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Analytics & Insights Generation:You'llconductexploratory, diagnostic, and descriptive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions.

Dashboard & Reporting Development:You'llcreate andmaintaindashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly track KPIs and business performance across various functions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:You'llpartner with cross-functional teams to define meaningful metrics and ensure insights align with business goals.

Experimentation & Optimization:You'llanalyze A/B tests, interpret results, and communicate actionable recommendations that drive optimization efforts.

Data Preparation & Transformation:You'llcollect, clean, and transform data using SQL, Python, or tools like Alteryx to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.

Data Pipeline & Integrity Support:You'llcollaborate with data engineering and BI teams to ensure reliable data pipelines andvalidatedata accuracy.

Documentation & Data Governance:You'llmaintainclear documentation for transformation logic, data lineage, and business rules to support transparency and consistency.

Communication & Storytelling:You'llpresent insights and recommendations in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science) or equivalent experiencerequired.

2 years of relevant data analysis experience.

Intermediateproficiencyin SQL, Python, or equivalent data preparation tools such as Alteryxrequired.

Intermediateproficiencyin data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BIrequired.
Desired Qualifications:

1 year of relevant business or financial industry experience preferred.

Demonstratedproficiencyin Google Analytics.

Solid understanding of mathematical formulas, foundational statistics, and KPI conceptsrequired.

Analytical and problem-solving skillsrequired.

Intermediate presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholdersrequired.
Benefits & conditions
The Target Pay Range for this position is $88,000.00-$107,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $68,300.00 - $127,500.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.
