Systems Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Systems Engineer with experience in the Telecom Industry. This is a 6+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Ashburn, VA. Please review the job description below., * Design and develop cost optimized solutions for cloud environment for enterprise applications

• Develop reusable architecture components to enable HA availability and Disaster needs.
• Develop IaaS automations to deploy and manage infra services.
• Automate cloud onboarding and frameworks for cloud migrations
• Automate installation of applications, programs and system components
• Migration of non standard OS to standard OS (Linux and windows env)
• Develop and implement Day 2 optimization plan

• Experience with Linux and windows environment in enterprise applications
• Experience in common infra services like compute, storage and load balancing
• Experience integrating CICD pipeline with automated test scripts
• Experience with cloudformation, terraform orchestration tool.
• Scripting Languages like bash, Perl, Python
• Knowledge of Implementation Tools like Puppet and Ansbile
• Strong experience using deployment and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Stash, Jira, Ant, Maven, etc
• application log management tools like logstash, splunk, etc
• Experience in common middleware components weblogic, jboss, apache and other open source web technologies
• Strong debugging skills and identifying root causes
• Design HA architecture for availability and performance
• exposed to Information Security with Corporate and Regulatory guidelines
• Desired: Certified in Oracle cloud OR AWS
• Desire: Redhat Linux or Windows certifications
