Job description
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, and network resources.
- Respond to user requests and resolve hardware, software, and system issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and support software applications, updates, and system upgrades.
- Diagnose technical problems, research solutions, and guide users through issue resolution.
- Escalate complex technical issues to specialized IT teams when necessary.
- Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the help desk system.
- Monitor recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance support services.
- Deliver excellent customer service while building positive relationships with users.
- Support Microsoft Office applications and common web browsers.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous Help Desk, technical support, or customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, and network drives.
- Experience supporting Windows 11, Apple iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Safari web browsers.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.
- ITIL Foundations certification preferred.
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
