- Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zones, including systems management and solution design
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers, software, and supporting services
- Monitor system performance, investigate anomalies, and resolve issues proactively
- Maintain high levels of security and efficiency across all IT infrastructure
- Collaborate within a SAFe Agile delivery model alongside application, data, and security teams
Additional Responsibilities
- Support IaaS, IaC, networking components, and firewall management
- Perform upgrades, IAVA patching, and ensure STIG compliance
- Maintain systems in alignment with contract and performance requirements
- Troubleshoot outages and implement long-term corrective actions
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud resources
- Enforce security best practices through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Develop and maintain internal documentation, technical manuals, and policy artifacts
- Contribute to multi-region disaster recovery strategies, including backup, failover, and resilience
Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance

5+ years of relevant professional experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Security+ certification
-
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar technical role

Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with peers and leadership

Hands-on experience with servers, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management in virtual or cloud environments

Ability to understand, refine, and document technical solution requirements

Self-driven with the ability to work independently

Expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems

Production Kubernetes / EKS and containerization experience (Docker/containerd, image building)

Active Directory and identity federation integration experience
Desired:
- Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, Docker
- Experience with STIG compliance and security patching
- Knowledge of AWS environments and core cloud services
- Scripting and automation experience (Shell, Perl, PowerShell)
- Strong Terraform knowledge (modules, state management, reusable IaC) and Ansible experience
- Observability and logging platform experience (Splunk, CloudWatch)

The proposed salary range for this position is: $75,200-$158,100
