Job description

  • We are looking for a Digital Asset System Architect (Platform Focus) who will define, evolve, and safeguard the vision of the Digital Asset Platform.
  • You will act as the technical authority and guardian of the platform, ensuring that all teams contribute to a coherent, scalable, secure, and future-proof architecture.
  • This is a high-impact role at the intersection of architecture strategy, platform governance, and innovation, where you will shape the long-term foundation of the company digital asset capabilities while enabling teams to deliver efficiently and consistently., * In this role, you will drive the evolution of the Digital Asset Platform, ensuring alignment between strategic vision and day-to-day delivery.
  • You will work closely with engineering teams, solution architects, product leaders, and external partners, guiding architectural decisions, validating implementations, and continuously improving the platform's capabilities.
  • Your mission is to ensure that the platform remains consistent, reusable, secure, and scalable, while enabling innovation and accelerating delivery across multiple initiatives.

Requirements

Applicants must be eligible to work in the specified location

Note that you must be based in Belgium or willing to relocate for the duration of this assignment and being minimum 8 days a month present at the Brussels office.

You Must Have :

  • Deep experience in platform architecture, preferably in cloud-native and distributed systems environments
  • Strong knowledge of DLT/digital asset platforms/blockchain ecosystems.
  • Proven experience defining and governing architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, event-driven systems, and integration patterns
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices
  • Strong expertise in security-by-design, identity models, and compliance frameworks
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic delivery constraints
  • Proven ability to guide multiple teams without direct authority
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across business and technical stakeholders
