Requirements

- Development Tooling teams operate across the Netherlands and India, delivering platform capabilities that improve developer productivity throughout the software development lifecycle.
- As a Platform Engineer, join a DevOps team responsible for the applications and platforms used by product teams to plan, design, build, and deliver software solutions.
- These platforms include GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Azure Boards, Sparx EA, Aris, and design collaboration tools.
- Work closely with product teams to understand challenges related to source control, backlog management, portfolio management, and software delivery processes, translating those needs into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
- The role involves end-to-end ownership of platform engineering activities, including implementation, administration, support, automation, and continuous improvement.
- A key focus area will be supporting the migration of applications from AWS to Azure, requiring strong hands-on expertise with Azure and Azure DevOps technologies.
- The team promotes a strong DevOps culture, values collaboration, open communication, continuous learning, and works closely together through practices such as pair programming and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong experience administering GitHub Enterprise, including organization and repository governance, branch protection policies, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Copilot rollout and adoption.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Repos, Pipelines, Boards, and Artifacts.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and platform operations.
- Programming experience in a DevOps environment using Python or C#.
- Experience working in Agile, product-oriented teams.
- Willingness to contribute to both engineering and operational support activities.
- Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives and platform modernization programs.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and platform engineering capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional and distributed teams.
