This person will scope, deliver and support solutions, and act as the senior escalation point for complex networking, cyber and cloud issues raised by our Managed Services and Solutions teams.Networking, cyber security and cloud are all central to the role, with Azure as the primary cloud platform. This is a hands-on technical lead and delivery position where deep capability and active contribution are at its heart, leading through technical expertise rather than managing people. Key responsibilitiesAct as the senior point of expertise and escalation for complex networking, cyber security and cloud matters, supporting the Managed Services teamConfigure, troubleshoot and support enterprise networks across multi-vendor routing, switching and firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point and similar), covering perimeter security, NAC and VPNsBuild, deliver and support Azure solutions, including hybrid networking, migration, and automation through infrastructure-as-codeAct as cyber security subject-matter expert, supporting cyber-defence tooling, SIEM, and vulnerability management in line with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, CIS Controls and ISO 27001Scope and deliver projects hands-on, producing workable solution designs and working closely with the Managed Services teamEngage directly with clients as a trusted technical partner

What we are looking forDeep, hands-on networking across multi-vendor routing, switching and firewalls, with the genuine ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex faults, not just configureStrong Azure and cloud capability across networking, IaaS and PaaS, with real hands-on delivery experienceStrong cyber security grounding and familiarity with recognised frameworks (Cyber Essentials, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, NIST)Experience in a managed-service or multi-client environment is desirableClear written and verbal communication, and composure under pressureIndustry qualifications welcome (for example CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE/PCNSA, AZ-700, AZ-500, SC200, SC300, SC100, CISSP)
