Manager Software Engineering - Frontend & Mobile

This role sits at the intersection of robotics, AI, and user experience - leading the development of web and mobile applications that serve as the primary interface between users and complex robotic systems.

This is a hands- on leadership role, combining technical execution with team leadership in a highly collaborative, in-office environment. What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a team building web and mobile applications that interface with cloud services and robotics systems
• Contribute directly to architecture, design, and code (player/coach role)
• Drive execution across the full software development lifecycle: planning, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Partner cross-functionally with product, backend, robotics, and hardware teams
• Set technical direction, prioritize work, and ensure high-quality delivery
• Mentor and develop engineers, raising the team's technical bar
• Identify and resolve technical and organizational challenges
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholdersFoster a culture of ownership, speed, and accountability
• Participate in field testing and collaborate with end users to validate real-world performance

What You'll Build

• Customer-facing web applications for monitoring and controlling robotic systems
• Mobile applications used in field environments
• Interfaces connecting cloud services with Real Time hardware systems
• Tools that translate complex system data into intuitive user experiences

• Experience managing Front End (React/TypeScript) and/or mobile (Flutter or similar) engineering teams
• Ability to operate as a hands- on technical leader (Lead Engineer level depth)
• Strong experience building and deploying web and/or mobile applications
• Experience working on systems that integrate with Back End services and hardware
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Base Salary Range: $190,000 - $225,000

Compensation varies based on experience, level, and skill alignment.
