Job description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Lead to join our team! In this role you will get to lead an individual scrum team assigned to a software effort that analyzes, designs, and develops computer software required to support hardware or technical service products.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provides leadership, responsibility, and ownership of a specific technical effort
  • Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
  • Contributes to and may lead the planning and implementation of large programs in the function, interfacing with senior management and executive leadership.
  • Builds innovative, robust, and efficient software solutions as the leader of a team
  • Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning.
  • Investigates and resolves defects related to the developed software systems.
  • Oversees the quality of test activities during the release of products to production.
  • Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of related professional experience
  • Must possess a SECRET Clearance (highly preferred TS/SCI or above)
  • Proven leadership and technical capability
  • Proficiency in object-oriented software design, containerization, and CI/CD deployments
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced subject matter expertise
  • Advanced technical and operational proficiency in software engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and practices
  • Advanced written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues, under pressure and/or deadlines
  • Proficient in developing software in one or more operating systems environment (Windows, Linux, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
