Job description

The Solution Architect is a technical role responsible for providing guidance and consulting on client-facing solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform. The SA contributes to the structuring and implementation of solutions and takes overall ownership for the quality of the technical requirements delivered to the customer. Leads the technical onboarding efforts with new clients to understand their current processes and platform configurations. Responsible for leading the Technical Consultants and/or Developers to deliver services in compliance with customer contracts, SLAs, and industry best practices.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as primary technical point-of-contact for projects and face of the development team to the customer
  • Define technical solutions at an architectural and design level aligned with client business problems and ServiceNow best practices
  • Understand customer requirements, translate to solutions, and communicate to clients
  • Write/estimate Stories, monitor Developer's work, and own overall quality and delivery of development
  • Responsible for Sprint demos, development artifacts, documentation, and knowledge transfer
  • Work collaboratively with Engagement Manager to monitor scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues
  • Mentor Developers and Technical Consultants on technical design standards and best practices
  • Perform research into technology partner or vendor solutions for integration
  • Contribute to continual improvement of Delivery Services processes and maturing of portfolios and capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience OR 9+ years experience
  • 1.5+ years on the ServiceNow platform
  • ServiceNow CSA (current or within 6 months of hire)
  • ServiceNow CIS-ITSM (current or within 6 months of hire)
  • Proven consulting experience leading development and delivery of ITSM solutions
  • Additional experience in one or more: CSM, HR, ITBM, ITOM, Performance Analytics, SecOps, or SAM
  • Understanding of SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
  • Experience with JavaScript scripting on the ServiceNow platform (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly)
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and leading scrum teams
  • ServiceNow CAD, is a plus

Benefits & conditions

Pay range: $109,000 - $184,000 depending on experience and skill set Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
