The role also involves performance monitoring, tier-2/3 troubleshooting, technical documentation, and stakeholder coordination. Requirements
Network engineering, cloud, azure, firewall, ccna, cisco, palo alto, arista, fortinet, juniper, bgp, routing, oci, Required: Associate's degree in a related field or 4+ years of direct network administration/engineering experience. Strong working knowledge of Azure networking services. Intermediate knowledge of WAN/LAN, DNS/DHCP, Layer 2/3, TCP/IP, firewalls, and ACLs. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Nice to Have / Preferred: Bachelor's degree. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AZ-500, AZ-900, or Security+ (certs will be validated in the process). Terraform or other automation/IaC tools (big bonus - "if they can check a box, it builds foundation"). Experience with Juniper (their edge platform). Experience with hybrid cloud (Azure + OCI). in large-scale campus or higher education networking. Knowledge of monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nmap, netflow). Linux/FreeRADIUS basics. Scripting/API/version control experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr.
