Job description

The AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting production cloud infrastructure across a mature AWS environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system reliability, performance, and availability while supporting ongoing business operations.

In this position, you will work hands on with AWS services to provision infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support development teams. You will focus on production operations, including system maintenance, incident response, and infrastructure optimization, ensuring environments remain stable and scalable., * Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure across production and non production environments

  • Provision and configure cloud resources to support application and development needs
  • Build and support AWS environments including networking, security, and core services
  • Configure and manage AWS components such as VPC, security groups, load balancers, and WAF
  • Deploy and support services including EC2, EKS, S3, EBS, Redshift, and CloudWatch
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and production issues across environments
  • Perform routine maintenance including patching, upgrades, and system optimization
  • Respond to production incidents and participate in an on call rotation

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of hands on experience supporting AWS infrastructure in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, EBS, Redshift, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch
  • Experience configuring AWS networking components including security groups, load balancers, and WAF
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and networking issues
  • Experience supporting development teams through infrastructure provisioning and maintenance
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python for basic automation tasks preferred
  • Exposure to Azure cloud services is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross functional teams
