Job description
- Design infrastructure tools and services that align with business strategies and architectural governance.
- Contribute to the creation and integration of infrastructure tools as a service.
- Develop templates, playbooks, and automation to facilitate the deployment of technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency of implementing and maintaining infrastructure tools and services.
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot applications hosted on Windows and Unix platforms.
- Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools and technology.
Requirements
Education: A degree in computers or information technology is required.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of expert-level solution design experience is required, covering one or more infrastructure areas such as Unix, Windows, Middleware, or Database. Experience in system, database, or middleware administration and design support in a large-scale environment is also required.
Technical Skills: Candidates must have a good understanding of the overall infrastructure domain, including the complete network and application development stack. Knowledge of ESX/VMware/vSAN and other virtualization technologies is necessary. An understanding of enterprise automation and orchestration tools like Ansible is also required. Proficiency with Python is a listed technical skill.
