Job description
- Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and reliable data pipelines
- Build and optimize ETL / ELT processes to integrate data from multiple sources
- Contribute to the implementation and evolution of modern data platforms in cloud environments
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security and governance across the data ecosystem
- Develop data models to support reporting, analytics and machine learning use cases
- Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Solution Architects, Project Managers and Business Stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions. Monitor, optimize and continuously improve data solutions and platform performance
- Contribute to data engineering best practices, including architecture, code quality and technical documentation
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- Between 3 and 8 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration or Data Platform projects.
- Good understanding of cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS and/or GCP)
- Comfortable working in collaborative and agile environments
- Professional proficiency in English is required. Fluency in French and/or Dutch is highly appreciated.
- Experience within Energy, Utilities, Life Sciences or Industrial environments is considered a strong asset.
- Plus to have : Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory / Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, ETL / ELT, Spark
