Tasks

• Design and maintain data pipelines that support AI models.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data integration and transformation.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility., As a Data Engineer in Bellevue, you will join a new team dedicated to building and maintaining customer support related AI and agentic solutions that collaborate with thousands of SAP support engineers worldwide and that interact with all of SAP's customers as part of SAP's mission critical and daily customer support offerings in preventive, reactive and value-adding scenarios across SAP's product and support portfolio. Your team will be part of the AI & Support Engineering organization with a decade of experience delivering enterprise AI at scale.

In your role, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that feed AI models.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data from enterprise sources.
• Build, curate and optimize high-quality datasets and pipelines.
• Design and manage data stores optimized for AI workloads.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability through validation, monitoring, and documentation.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deliver the right data in the right shape.
• Implement data governance, privacy, and access controls in partnership with security engineers.

• 3+ years in data engineering, with proven experience in production data pipelines.
• Proficient in SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala.
• Familiar with data processing frameworks like Spark and Kafka., * 3+ years of experience in data engineering or development with a data focus.
• Proven experience building and operating production data pipelines at scale.
• Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks (e.g. Spark, Kafka).
• Familiarity with data lake house technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience preparing data for AI and analytical use cases.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms.
• Solid grasp of data modeling, data quality, and governance practices.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to partner closely engineering & business teams.
• Knowledge of privacy, security and compliance requirements for enterprise software.
• Fluent in English.
