Job description

We are looking for a Student QA Engineer to join our Agentic AI team, working on next-generation AI systems powered by large language models (LLMs) and autonomous agents.

  • Design and execute test cases for AI agent workflows (multi-steps reasoning, tool use, decision flows)
  • Validate outputs of LLM-based systems for correctness and consistency
  • Test end-to-end agentic pipelines
  • Identify edge cases, hallucinations, and failure modes
  • Support evaluation of prompts and agent configurations
  • Assist in building automated test suites using Python or Playwright
  • Collaboration with developers and AI engineers
  • Document test results and improvement suggestions

Requirements

  • Qualification: Currently studying Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
  • Expertise & Know-how: Basic understanding of software testing / QA principles and string interest in AI, LLMs, or agent-based systems
  • Technical Focus: Experience with Python or TypeScript and first exposure to AWS (e.g., Bedrock), APIs, or test automation tools
  • Personality & Work Style: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and curiosity about how AI systems reason and fail
  • Language: Good communication skills in German and English
  • Workload: Availability as a working student (approx. 15 - 20 hours per week)
