At Indra, we develop embedded software that powers critical airborne systemsWe are looking for aSenior Embedded Software Engineerto join ourAirborne Radar programmes, contributing to the development ofreal-time embedded softwarefor high-criticality defence systems.If you are passionate about embedded development, low-level software and complex, mission-critical environments, this is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in international defence projects.Your missionAs a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of airborne radar systems, with responsibilities including:Design, development and implementation ofreal-time embedded softwarefor airborne radar applications.Collaboration withcross-functional and multidisciplinary teamsto ensure software meets system requirements and specifications.Troubleshooting, debugging and optimisation of software to improveperformance, reliability and robustness.Preparation and maintenance ofsoftware design documentation, processes and procedures.Contribution to software lifecycle activities in highly regulated defence environments.What we are looking forMinimum 3 years of experiencein embedded software development.Background inTelecommunications, Electronics, Computer Systemsor equivalent technical training.Proven experience in:Real-time embedded software development.Programming inC / C++.Working withLinux OS, VxWorks and/or real-time operating systems (RTOS).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Intermediate English level (minimum B2), written and spoken.Eligibility to obtain security clearance up to NATO Secret.Valuable experienceKnowledge ofaeronautical software verification and certification standards (DO-178C).Experience withUML-based software designtools (e.G.
