Python Developer (Remote)

Akens \ Nordburg is seeking for a German IT-solutions company highly skilled and experienced Python Develper (m/f) to enlarge the Spanish based Team.In this role, you will work on the development and maintenance of data-driven and event-based applications, contributing to robust backend solutions in a complex and dynamic environment.You will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders, with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and reliability.Location: 100% remote from SpainRESPONSIBILITIES:Design, develop, and maintain backend services and data pipelines using PythonBuild and maintain APIs and event-driven components using FastAPI and FastStreamWork with SQL-based data solutions and cloud data platforms such as SnowflakeIntegrate systems using Kafka and other messaging technologiesCollaborate within an agile software development lifecycle (SDLC)Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviewsContribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized environmentsWork closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-changing environmentREQUIREMENTS:University degree in one of the following fields: science, mathematics, computer science, or engineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of SQL and DatabricksExperience (3-5 years) working with Python with FastApi, FastStream, and computation libsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes & Docker, Kafka, Git (usage, not building)Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologiesKnowledge of the energy trading sector and risk managementAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTSExperience working in data-intensive or real-time systemsFamiliarity with cloud-based architecturesExperience collaborating with business stakeholders in regulated or complex domainsBENEFITS:Opportunities to professional growth and developmentLong term labor contractFlexible work arrangements.100% remoteDynamic and collaborative work environment
