Salesforce Oms Developer

Role Name : Salesforce OMS DeveloperRole Location : Europe - RemoteRole Type : ContractOver all experience - 4-7 years experienceRelevant experience -The Demand ware OMS/OCI Developer will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining Order Management and Order Center Integrations within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demand ware) ecosystem.They will take a lead role in implementing order workflows, integrating external systems, and ensuring seamless end-to-end order lifecycle execution.Perform configuration, customization, and extension of Demand ware OMS/OCI modules, including order routing, fulfillment logic, and post-purchase workflows.Must have strong knowledge of API integrations (standard and custom), including OMS SFCC storefront, ERP, WMS, and payment systems.Must have experience working with JavaScript-based controllers, pipelines, and SFRA-based storefront logic to support OMS-driven order flows.Must have strong knowledge of implementing backend services, job scripts, and integration frameworks supporting order creation, updates, cancellations, and returns.Work with product owners, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to define, clarify, and implement functional and nonfunctional requirements related to order management and fulfillment.Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and test coverage for all OMS-related development.Collaborate with IT and external system teams to integrate OMS with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and logistics providers.Investigate, scope, and plan implementation of assigned epics and backlog items related to order lifecycle enhancements.Work and develop code in compliance with SFCC development standards, OMS integration guidelines, technical design documents, and platform architectural direction.Mandatory skill requiredOMS / OCI (Order Management System / Order Center Integration)SFRA, Controllers, PipelinesJavaScript (Server-side & Client-side)API Integrations (REST/SOAP)Job Framework & Scheduled JobsData Modeling for Orders, Shipments, InventoryGIT / Version ControlIntegration with ERP, WMS, CRM, Payment SystemsJSON, XML, Middleware Integration PatternsOrder Lifecycle Management (Create, Capture, Fulfill, Cancel, Return)Inventory Management & Allocation RulesPerformance Optimization for Order WorkflowsError Handling & Retry Logic for OMS IntegrationsGood to have skills -Experience with other OMS platforms (Manhattan, IBM Sterling, Fluent Commerce)Knowledge of Payment Gateway IntegrationsExperience with Agile MethodologiesFamiliarity with eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce)
