DevOps ManagerMadrid / Malaga - Hybrid working, 2 days a week in the officeGlobal IT ConsultancyDevOps Manager / Hybrid working, 2 days a week in the office / Role can be based in either Malaga or Madrid / 25 days holiday + bank holidays / Health Insurance / Personal Development BudgetWe're looking for an experienced DevOps Manager to lead a team of Software Developers and DevOps Engineers responsible for building, improving, and operating critical internal applications and platforms.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical leadership, people management, and product thinking.You'll help shape engineering practices, guide technical direction, support team development, and ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions across the business.What you'll be doingLeading and developing a multidisciplinary engineering team across software development and DevOpsOwning the delivery, operational quality, and ongoing evolution of internal applications and servicesWorking closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plansDriving engineering best practices including CI/CD, automation, observability, code quality, and operational reliabilitySupporting architectural and technical decision making across platforms and applicationsHelping teams balance delivery speed with scalability, maintainability, and long-term sustainabilityRemoving blockers, improving workflows, and creating an environment where engineers can thriveCoaching, mentoring, and supporting career development across the teamEncouraging a collaborative, accountable, and outcome-focused engineering cultureWhat we're looking forStrong experience leading engineering, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure teamsSolid technical background across modern software engineering and DevOps practicesExperience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release management, and operational workflowsStrong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes environmentsFamiliarity with technologies such as Python, Django, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, GitLab, and NexusGood understanding of Linux, infrastructure, networking, cloud or private cloud environmentsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong leadership skills with a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindsetNice to haveExperience with OpenStack environmentsExposure to tools such as Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Prometheus, or GrafanaExperience improving developer experience, platform reliability, or engineering workflowsBackground spanning software development, infrastructure, and operationsThis is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering environment where you'll have genuine influence over team culture, technical direction, and platform evolution.#J-*****-Ljbffr
Requirements
