Data Engineer - INGING is a fully online bank focused on delivering innovative, transparent, and agile solutions.We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer to join our Data & AI tribe, working on a collaborative international project based in Madrid.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure best practices in technical design, ETL development and modelling informational solutions.Monitor end-to-end processes, detect technical issues and devise data-driven solutions.Maintain platform sustainability, meeting minimum IT and risk standards.Guarantee ETL delivery and promotion through Azure pipelines, aligned with our best practices.Analyze business needs, propose IT solutions and support the Spain ING Data Strategy.Collaborate across teams within an Agile & DevOps environment using Scrum and Kanban.QualificationsTechnical knowledge in databases (SQL and NoSQL), ETL processes and BI reporting.Expertise in data modelling and data architecture for informational platforms.Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data warehousing, data lakes, and data virtualization in the banking/finance industry.Experience working in Agile environments.Clear communication skills and high English proficiency (written and oral).Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and capable of working independently.Proactive problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude.Team player with daily collaboration across departments.Ability to work on an international level.Strong initiative in improving processes and implementing creative ideas.Leadership in promoting a positive, accountable, and learning culture.Experience with: Data Lake and Big Data environments, BigQuery, Oracle (19c), data virtualization/Denodo, IBM DataStage & IGC, IBM Cognos, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Azure DevOps or similar cloud DevOps services, cloud environments, security monitoring & logging (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana), automation tools (Python/Go, DBT), and Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS).BenefitsFlexibility and accountability: choose your working days and hours at home or in the Madrid office.Restaurant card to simplify lunch breaks.Comprehensive health insurance coverage for you and your family.Life insurance protection.Flexible remuneration with tax-advantaged options and access to services such as nursery, transport card, and training aids.Commuter shuttle service with multiple routes to the Madrid office.Special banking benefits: loans with favorable conditions and mortgage options after 6 months, plus pensions from the first month.Health and wellness programs: 360o employee care, onsite physiotherapy, gym access, athletic clinics, and gympass service.Employee networks fostering diversity and inclusion.International remote work program.#J-*****-Ljbffr
Requirements
