Change Analyst

Job Responsibilities / Role Youll work within a dedicated PRE Environment Governance and Change Management function responsible for maintaining operational stability, governance, and controlled change execution across PRE environments supporting the Sparrow programme.This role combines technical change coordination, environment governance, deployment oversight, CAB facilitation, and operational risk management across complex enterprise technology platforms.Youll work closely with infrastructure, application, testing, support, and programme teams to ensure all PRE activities are planned, governed, communicated, and executed safely within controlled operational windows.Responsibilities Coordinating and governing changes, deployments, and testing activities across PRE environments to ensure operational stability and minimise disruption.Facilitating daily PRE - Change Advisory Boards (CABs), including reviewing, assessing, approving, scheduling, and tracking changes and high-impact testing activities.Maintaining integrated PRE change, deployment, and testing schedules across project and BAU activities.Managing deployments and operational activities across multiple technologies including JAVA, AWS Cloud, Mainframe, middleware, and distributed platforms.Supporting operational readiness through daily PRE health checks, governance reporting, and environment status communications.Performing technical analysis of deployment or environment issues and coordinating resolution activities with support and engineering teams.Ensuring high-impact changes and disruptive tests are appropriately risk assessed, communicated, and executed within approved governance windows.Supporting governance and control of PRE data ingestion activities from PRO and MIG environments, ensuring compliance with data quality, masking, confidentiality, and operational stability requirements.Coordinating with Incident Management, Monitoring, Environment Support, and project delivery teams to minimise operational risk during changes and deployments.Verifying, validating, and maintaining implementation, rollback, contingency, and recovery plans for major changes.Conducting post-implementation reviews and contributing to root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.Managing stakeholder relationships across internal technology teams, suppliers, programme teams, and operational governance forums.Supporting operational policy enforcement, deployment standards, and PRE governance controls.Co-ordinating Pre Production Performance tests on behalf of the certification office.+5 years' experience as IT Change Analyst Experience within Technical Change Management, Environment Management, Release Management, or IT Operations governance roles.Experience coordinating software deployments and infrastructure changes across multiple technologies and platforms.Previous experience working within an ITIL Service Management environment with strong understanding of Change, Incident, Problem, and Environment Management processes.Experience facilitating governance forums such as CABs, operational reviews, or deployment planning meetings.Strong understanding of operational risk, change governance, and deployment best practices within enterprise environments.Ability to coordinate technical teams and stakeholders across complex delivery and operational landscapes.Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience managing stakeholder communications at multiple levels.A proven understanding of multi-platform systems architecture (Ansible, WebSphere, Tomcat, AWS Cloud & Android / iOS) ITIL Certification or equivalent Prince2 Certification or equivalent Experience in Scripting languages

Co-ordinating Pre Production Performance tests on behalf of the certification office. +5 years' experience as IT Change Analyst Experience within Technical Change Management, Environment Management, Release Management, or IT Operations governance roles. Experience coordinating software deployments and infrastructure changes across multiple technologies and platforms. Previous experience working within an ITIL Service Management environment with strong understanding of Change, Incident, Problem, and Environment Management processes.
