Job description
OpportunityAs a Level 2 NOC Technician you will be part of our follow-the-sun operations team. Your mission is to monitor, troubleshoot, and restore network services that keep our customers' plants, labs, and critical infrastructure running securely and without interruption.Key ResponsibilitiesContinuous monitoring of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, and other network assets via dashboards and alerting toolsSecond-line diagnosis and resolution of connectivity incidents (VLAN, DHCP, DNS, basic routing/switching)Execute standard changes (e.g., user access, guest Wi-Fi, basic policy updates) under run-books and change-control proceduresCapture, classify, and update tickets; escalates to L3 or field teams when required, ensuring accurate hand-over between shiftsPerform daily service checks on critical systems and produce shift reportsMaintain asset inventories and technical documentationCollaborate with Cyber-SOC and Infrastructure teams during security or performance eventsMinimum QualificationsVocational training or Associate Degree in Networks / Systems Administration (or equivalent hands-on experience)Working knowledge of TCP/IP, switching & routing fundamentals, and basic network services (DNS, DHCP, VPN)Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring platformsEnglish B2 (written & spoken); Spanish a plusNice-to-HaveVendor certifications (e.g., CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4, Palo Alto ACE)Scripting or automation exposure (Python, Ansible)Experience in industrial / OT networksWhat Makes You Successful HereWe look for clear, assertive communicators who put the customer first, keep a cool head under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and enjoy working shoulder-to-shoulder with multidisciplinary teams.Benefits & DevelopmentPermanent contract with competitive salaryVersátil compensation package (meal vouchers, childcare, ticket transportation)Continuous training on leading platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and CiscoCareer path toward L3 engineering, OT-Cyber SOC, and architecture roles within Infraone's Lifecycle ServicesShift patternRotating shifts (these may include nights, weekends, and public holidays)LocationBarcelona HQ (with occasional remote)DepartmentLifecycle Services - Managed Network Operations#J-*****-Ljbffr
Requirements
