Controls and Embedded Design Engineer (PV Inverters), ValenciaClient:A multinational technology company specializing in power electronics focusing on photovoltaic and energy storage solutions.Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesBuilding and refining closed-loop control models for power conversion technologies and characterizing dynamic responseWriting, optimizing, and documenting bare-metal C for TI C**** and other 32-bit MCUsDeveloping software drivers and libraries for peripherals (ADC, PWM, timers, SPI, I2C, UART, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet) with deterministic execution and interrupt-safe designInterfacing with real-time simulators (hardware-in-the-loop HiL)Designing 4- to 6-layer PCBs for mixed-signal layoutsAssembling and debugging prototypes with necessary lab equipmentAuthoring automated Python/LabVIEW scripts for regression tests and production programmingGenerating detailed electrical specifications, BOMs, and test plansDeveloping compliance documentation (UL/IEC/CE)Leading design reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and interfacing with suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve DFM/DFA issuesSupporting field-failure analysis and sustainment engineering for products in volume productionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus)3-5 years experience in Power Electronics EngineeringExperience with MATLAB, Simulink, PSPICE, PSIM (modeling and simulation)Experience with Texas Instruments microcontrollers, especially C****Experience with hardware design and schematic capture toolsExperience working with real-time operating systemsExperience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2CExposure to Python programmingFamiliarity with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscope, etc.)Experience with software development processes (GIT/SVN, issue tracking, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentAbility to learn new skills independently and assume new responsibilitiesAvailability for international travel during the initial onboarding and training phaseLegal eligibility to work in the location (Valencia)BenefitsFlexibility and home-office optionsPartnership in a company with strong international presenceLong-term professional projects and stabilityDynamic work environment with participation in various company projects#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements
