Senior Platform Engineer | Go & Kubernetes Controllers

We are currently partnering with a large scale international technology environment focused on building next generation cloud infrastructure and highly automated platform services across Europe.This opportunity is ideal for engineers passionate about Kubernetes internals, platform engineering, automation and distributed systems, who enjoy owning infrastructure from development through production.Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Kubernetes Controllers and Operators within complex multi-cluster environmentsBuild automation solutions for provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructurePackage and deploy platform services using standardized deployment approaches across multiple environmentsDesign and improve CI/CD pipelines and internal engineering platformsCollaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams in an agile environmentContribute to secure infrastructure designs, including segmented and isolated environmentsEnsure reliability, scalability and operational excellence of cloud-native systemsWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience developing software in Go / GolangSolid hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environmentsExperience building Kubernetes Controllers, Operators or working with Cluster API ecosystemsGood understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systemsExperience with CI/CD tooling, automation and Infrastructure as CodeComfortable operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clustersExposure to highly secure or isolated infrastructure environments is a plusStrong communication skills in EnglishNice to HaveExperience with multi-cluster orchestrationKnowledge of GitOps practicesExposure to platform engineering or internal developer platformsFamiliarity with air-gapped or highly regulated environments

Strong experience developing software in Go / Golang Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments Experience building Kubernetes Controllers, Operators or working with Cluster API ecosystems Good understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems Experience with CI/CD tooling, automation and Infrastructure as Code Comfortable operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters Exposure to highly secure or isolated infrastructure environments is a plus Strong communication skills in English Nice to Have Experience with multi-cluster orchestration Knowledge of GitOps practices Exposure to platform engineering or internal developer platforms Familiarity with air-gapped or highly regulated environments
