Data Scientist - Machine Learning for MarketingBarcelona · Full-timeIndaru is an independent media and data advisory firm. Our work sits behind multi-million-euro investment decisions at some of the largest brands in the world.What you'll work onYou'll join a team of data scientists building the models and measurement that guide our clients' marketing investment.Develop machine-learning models applied to marketing - Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), forecasting, segmentation and attributionContribute to our proprietary products: AITA, our MMM platform, and Eco Metrics, our ISO-aligned solution for measuring the carbon footprint of digital advertisingTurn model output into clear, defensible recommendations clients can act onBuild and optimise the data pipelines (ELT) that bring together Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics, YouTube and Amazon dataDesign and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio, Shiny, Power BI and similar toolsPresent findings directly to clients - your analysis, in your wordsWhat we're looking forStrong Python for data science (pandas, scikit-learn and the wider ecosystem) and comfort working with large datasets (GB-TB scale)Solid SQL - able to write and reason about complex queriesA rigorous, detail-oriented and self-directed way of workingA genuine collaborator who enjoys working closely with colleagues and clientsStrong written and spoken English (C1)A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative fieldNice to have: Experience with deep-learning or Bayesian frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyMC, PySpark)Familiarity with a cloud platform (Google Cloud, AWS or Azure)Exposure to marketing, media or advertising dataAdditional languages - we work across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia-PacificWhat we offerA front-row seat on high-stakes measurement work for general brands - exposure most data scientists wait years forProprietary products at the frontier of MMM and sustainability measurementReal ownership of your work and direct client contact early onA serious commitment to developing your potential - we treat growth as part of the job, not a perkA collaborative, open team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriouslyFull-time position based in Barcelona, with a competitive salary#J-*****-Ljbffr
Requirements
Strong Python for data science (pandas, scikit-learn and the wider ecosystem) and comfort working with large datasets (GB-TB scale) Solid SQL - able to write and reason about complex queries A rigorous, detail-oriented and self-directed way of working A genuine collaborator who enjoys working closely with colleagues and clients Strong written and spoken English (C1) A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field Nice to have: Experience with deep-learning or Bayesian frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyMC, PySpark) Familiarity with a cloud platform (Google Cloud, AWS or Azure) Exposure to marketing, media or advertising data
