In this role, you'll architect and build scalable, high-performance backend systems that power advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.What You'll DoDesign and implement cloud-native backend services for large-scale data processing and analyticsCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to turn complex business needs into elegant technical solutionsBuild and optimize data models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliabilityDrive cost-efficient and secure use of cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS)What We're Looking For (Must have)5+ years of experience as a backend engineer, ideally in data-intensive environmentsStrong proficiency in Python (preferred), with additional experience in Java or Scala a plusDeep experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP, and its data ecosystem (e.g., ECS, Fargate, S3, Redshift, Lambda)Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to mentor othersNice to HaveMaster's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience working with streaming data, event-driven architectures, or real-time analyticsHands-on experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Dask, Spark, Hadoop)Exposure to machine learning workflows, data science tools, or BI platformsContributions to open-source projects or technical blogs
