The role requires strong engineering discipline along with experience in modern CI/CD practices using Git and Azure DevOps.?Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimizecomplex SQL-based data solutionsacross large and enterprise-scale datasetsBuild and maintainrobust data models and transformation logic, ensuring performance, accuracy, and maintainabilityTroubleshoot and optimize query performance using advanced SQL techniques (joins, CTEs, window functions, execution plan analysis)Develop and maintain transformation frameworks using dbt where applicableImplement CI/CD pipelines usingAzure DevOpsfor automated build, test, and deploymentApply strongGit-based development practices(branching, code reviews, version control)Support data platform components including Snowflake where required, but not as the primary focusCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and efficient data solutionsEnsure solutions are production-ready, including monitoring, stability, and support handover??Mandatory requirements:Expert-level SQL skills (mandatory, primary skill)Complex query writing and optimizationData modelling (dimensional, normalized/denormalized)Performance tuning on large datasetsStrong experience indata engineering and transformation designExperience withdbtor similar transformation frameworksStrong knowledge ofGit workflows and version control practicesExperience withAzure DevOps pipelines / CI-CD automationStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work across full lifecycle (development to production support)Nice to have:Exposure toSnowflakeor similar cloud data platforms (nice-to-have, not primary requirement)Understanding of cloud-based data architecturesFamiliarity with test automation and data validation approaches??¿What can we offer?-?? 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days!-??
