Data Scientist

In this role, you will join our Bystronic Software team.With our software solutions, developed specifically for the sheet metal processing industry, we enable companies to digitize their entire processes - from the initial quote to the final delivery.What you will be doingAnalyze large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends and opportunities.Design, develop and maintain predictive models and machine learning algorithms.Clean, transform and validate data from multiple sources.Create dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define metrics and KPIs.Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Automate analytical processes and data pipelines.Explore new techniques and tools related to AI and data science.Your education & experienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a related field.4 years of experience in Data Science, advanced analytics or similar roles.Experience applying statistical modelling, machine learning and data visualization in business contexts.What you need to succeedStrong command of Python or R.Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.Solid SQL knowledge and experience working with databases.Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Looker or similar.Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning.Familiarity with Azure cloud environments.Analytical thinking, business orientation and strong data storytelling skills.Proactive mindset and ability to solve complex problems in collaboration with others.What sets you apartExperience with MLOps.Knowledge of NLP or Computer Vision.Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop or Databricks.Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.What's in it for youA hybrid work model connected to our offices in Bilbao, Derio and Vitoria.Flexible working schedule and reduced working hours during summer.Individual learning and development programs, including language courses, Microsoft certifications and participation in technical conferences.Multidisciplinary teams with diverse skills, perspectives and backgrounds working in agile ways.The opportunity to create real impact in the sheet metal industry and help shape the digital factory of the future.Salary and benefits aligned with the market and your experience.#J-*****-Ljbffr
