Senior Mes System Engineer

We are looking for an"MES Senior Systems Engineer"to support and enhance Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a global pharmaceutical environment.In this role, you will ensure thestable operation, continuous improvement, and complianceof MES applications and their technical environments.You will work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and SMEs to maintain high system availability, support change processes, and ensure alignment with GxP standards.TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :* Ensureday-to-day operations and stabilityof MES applications and platforms.* Executeservice requestsfrom IT teams, business users, and stakeholders.* Drivecontinuous improvement initiativesto enhance MES processes and support quality.* Test, document, implement, and communicatechange requestsrelated to MES applications and environments.* Maintain and updateapplication and system documentation.* Coordinate and executetesting activities, ensuring proper documentation and evidence.* EnsureGxP complianceacross operations, access management, and system processes.* Manage and coordinateapplication and infrastructure changes.* Analyzesystem performance, capacity, and scalability, proposing improvements where needed.* Performsecurity and access reviews(Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability).* Manageconfiguration items and periodic system reviews.* Overseeuser access, license usage, and security controls.* Ensure proper execution oftechnical operations(backup checks, restore tests, disaster recovery, patching, upgrades).* Coordinate newdemands and requirementswith IT stakeholders and SMEs.* Providesupport during audits, including on-site presence when required.* Ensure alltraining and compliance requirementsare fulfilled.* Supportbusiness hours operations, with occasional planned work outside standard hours.SKILLS :* Strong knowledge ofIT infrastructure technologies(Windows, Linux, Citrix).* Experience withdatabase systems(Oracle, PostgreSQL).* Understanding ofOperational Technology (OT) environmentsin pharmaceutical manufacturing.* Solid experience working instructured and regulated environments (GxP).* Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.* Proactive andsolution-oriented mindset.* Ability to work effectively ininternational and cross-functional teams.* Advanced or fluentEnglish communication skills.NICE TO HAVE:* Experience withManufacturing Execution Systems (MES)(preferably Körber PAS-X 3.2 or newer).* Knowledge ofMBR design and lifecycle managementwithin MES platforms.* Experience withcontainerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).* Hands-on experience withDocker-based deployments.* Experience withOracle database administration or integrationin manufacturing IT systems.* 3-5 years of professional experience inproduction IT systems or engineering environments.SCHEDULE:*****h -*****h from Monday to Friday (flexible)1 day a month on-site - In Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona)CONDITIONS :Salary package based on your profile.We will discuss it on our first call.Permanent ContractTicket restaurant included in-office hoursFlexible Retribution Program (Urban Sports Club)Learning & DevelopmentFriend Referral ProgramOur goal is that you are well in every way!
