Job description
- Develop approaches for using customer data to support engagement activity
- Contribute to plans relating to personalisation and communications
- Oversee the management of data used across customer channels
- Identify opportunities where data can support improved customer and business outcomes
- Work with marketing, technology, and other teams to build advocacy for a data-led approach
- Ensure activity aligns with internal governance, compliance, and security requirements
- Lead and support a team focused on data and activation delivery
- Manage and prioritise work based on business needs and available data
- Act as a key contact point between teams using data for engagement

- Security, We are partnering exclusively with a household name in the South West to recruit a Customer Data Lead on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role with a 50/50 split between office and remote working, based in the South-West. The role sits across data, digital, and marketing, with responsibility for leading a team and working closely with a range of stakeholders to deliver data-led solutions. The salary is £70,000 - £90,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Requirements
- Experience working with data to support customer engagement or marketing activity
- Understanding of how customer data is used across digital or communication channels
- Experience leading or supporting teams delivering data-related work
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across different functions
- Awareness of data governance, consent, and regulatory considerations for customer data and communications
- Experience working in environments involving data platforms or marketing technology
- Ability to manage priorities and balance multiple pieces of work
- Deep experience of cloud data analytics platforms and CRM/engagement platforms
