Job description

  • Develop approaches for using customer data to support engagement activity
  • Contribute to plans relating to personalisation and communications
  • Oversee the management of data used across customer channels
  • Identify opportunities where data can support improved customer and business outcomes
  • Work with marketing, technology, and other teams to build advocacy for a data-led approach
  • Ensure activity aligns with internal governance, compliance, and security requirements
  • Lead and support a team focused on data and activation delivery
  • Manage and prioritise work based on business needs and available data
  • Act as a key contact point between teams using data for engagement

  • Security, We are partnering exclusively with a household name in the South West to recruit a Customer Data Lead on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role with a 50/50 split between office and remote working, based in the South-West. The role sits across data, digital, and marketing, with responsibility for leading a team and working closely with a range of stakeholders to deliver data-led solutions. The salary is £70,000 - £90,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Requirements

  • Experience working with data to support customer engagement or marketing activity
  • Understanding of how customer data is used across digital or communication channels
  • Experience leading or supporting teams delivering data-related work
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across different functions
  • Awareness of data governance, consent, and regulatory considerations for customer data and communications
  • Experience working in environments involving data platforms or marketing technology
  • Ability to manage priorities and balance multiple pieces of work
  • Deep experience of cloud data analytics platforms and CRM/engagement platforms
