Job description

  • Build web applications and native macOS apps that streamline production design workflows and automate artwork creation at scale.
  • Prototype artwork system solutions for Media Products user interfaces.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software, ensuring compatibility with new releases of macOS, Photoshop, Sketch, and other creative tools.
  • Integrate with internal content APIs to download, process, and upload creative assets across multiple systems.
  • Develop Photoshop, After Effects, and Sketch plugins, as well as macOS services, to reduce repetitive work and improve productivity for Editorial and Production Design teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create and maintain documentation for internal applications and tools.
  • Provide technical support to team members by troubleshooting issues, gathering feedback, and implementing enhancements., * Experience developing modern web applications using frameworks such as React or similar.

Requirements

Our clients Services Media Technology & Tools Design team is seeking a Creative Developer with a strong foundation in either web or native application development, a keen eye for design, and a proven track record of building creative technology solutions. This role focuses on empowering creative teams with innovative tools that automate repetitive production tasks at an international scale and enable the creation of image and video deliverables., * Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ECMAScript) standards.

  • Proficiency in at least one server-side language or framework, such as Node.js or Python.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and a solid understanding of HTTP.
  • Experience building native macOS applications using Swift.
  • Proficiency with shell scripting using Bash or Zsh.
  • Experience automating creative workflows with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Sketch.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub for source control, collaboration, and release management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, design-focused environment while learning new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design elegant solutions for complex workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for digital media, creative technology, and Media Products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
