In this role, you will help accelerate product development by ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of self-driving software for a pioneering autonomous mobility company. What You'll Do
As a core member of the validation team, you will bridge the gap between software development and real-world execution:
- Develop & Execute Test Plans: Support the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans for autonomous driving and self-driving behavior features.
- Run Advanced Simulations: Design and implement simulation-based test scenarios, executing synthetic and log-based tests using cutting-edge in-house simulation platforms.
- Analyze & Root-Cause: Dig into test results to identify regressions, investigate software failures, and validate functionality across new software releases.
- Triage and Track: Actively gather and analyze data findings from multiple testing platforms and validation pipelines, collaborating closely with Software, Systems, and QA teams to resolve bugs.
- Real-World Validation: Participate in in-vehicle testing missions to watch new features behave in the real world, translating those findings into smarter automated metrics.
Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience Level: 0-2 years of experience designing, testing, or implementing software/systems with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Tech Fundamentals: Familiarity with the Linux command line, Git, Jira, and scripting languages (like Python).
- Automation Mindset: Exposure to automated test frameworks or a strong desire to build expertise in test automation tools.
- Soft Skills: Top-tier communication, organizational ability, and a collaborative team spirit.
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 or other safety-critical industry standards.
- Proficiency with modern AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code or GitHub Copilot).
- Previous internship or academic project experience in robotics, aerospace, or automotive systems.
