Job description
Peraton is hiring a Cryptographic Support Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Linthicum, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.
As a Cryptographic Support Systems Engineer you will support the Program Management Office (PMO) overseeing a large multi-organizational software development project. You will provide general systems engineering support including requirements definition, documentation, and integration support in the oversight of this ongoing development effort as well as providing support to the testing team validating the development work. #MDFSP #AJCM
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's or PhD Degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: A High School Diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
- Experience configuring and developing tests for automated testing in a DevOps platform and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline
- Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Position requires that the candidate's last polygraph is <10 years old

- Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.
- Analysis of design and implementation alternatives, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
- Analysis of functional, system, and non-functional requirements, data flows, and dependencies
- Architecture experience (DoDAF).
- Defining, developing, and documenting operational support concepts leading to development and implementation of requirements, specifications, and design plans.
- Prior experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Product Owner/Scrum Master on an agile/scrum team
