Job description
As the Cyber Security Engineer you will be responsible for providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle. Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for embedded Weapon Systems. Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software. Verifying implementation of system security requirements. Designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining state of the art System Security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products. Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs. Prototyping and testing System Security countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks against Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Weapon System products.

Requirements
Experience working within the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC)
Experience with embedded systems design, microcontroller programming, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Implementing System Security requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government compliance requirements.
Experience supporting validation and verification of security requirements on DoD systems.
Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date in order to meet program requirements.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
